The meal has been a talking point - for all the right reasons. We can’t thank you and your team enough John, our wedding meal was quite simply outstanding. Both the quality and the quantity of food was first class and it was served piping hot by your friendly and efficient staff. The evening buffet of bacon and sausage rolls went down a treat too and ensured everyone had energy to dance well into the night! Its been a pleasure to work with you - nothing was too much trouble, and you were very patient with us when we were creating the menu. The fact that you came up the night before to set up the tables and make sure everything was perfect was a load off our minds and meant that on the day we simply sat back and enjoyed it all. Thanks again John, we can’t recommend you highly enough and we’ll certainly be using you again in the future.

I want to take a few minutes now that I am back into my routine to thank you for the wonderful job you and your team did at our daughters wedding. Not only was the food excellent and plentiful but your flexibility with our schedule was very much appreciated the receiving line took much longer than we expected and as the dinner was delayed you were very accommodating we were also very impressed with you travelling to the castle on the Friday night to set up the tables so that on Saturday morning they could be set for the dinner. I know that Brian and Chelsea were very happy with the outcome and were appreciative for all you did. It seemed like you and your team were there for the whole weekend.
Anyways I had to let you know that everybody had good things to say about Lockhart’s. Thank you again so much for attending to all those details that freeded me up to take care of other things. (Like being the mother of the bride!) I would highly recommend you and your wonderful staff for any event. Thanks again and best of luck in all your endeavours.

We got married at Achnagairn on the 10th December 2009 and had an AMAZING time!! From start to finish it was fantastic. We had John Lockhart as our caterer, catering for 120-day guests and an extra 75 at night. Before the wedding John was fantastic, so organised and enthusiastic…. I knew that the wedding he was going to give us would be perfect. I cannot recommend John and his team highly enough. He went above and beyond the call of duty…always with a smile on his face, to make sure that everything was perfect. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic and the staff could not have been more attentitive and efficient. If we were to do it all over again, we would DEFINITELY use John Lockhart and his team and I would not change one single thing about the day.
Achnagairn is an amazing venue - all our guests were blown away. It takes a lot more organisation than having your wedding at a hotel, but it is well worth it!! Anna is a credit to the house and like John Lockhart; she could not be any more helpful if she tried. She went out of her way to make sure that everything was just right for us before the wedding began. We used flowers by lee as our florist and she did an amazing job. Donella did our hair and Body Beautiful our make up. We had the mystic shoes and barlee bree as our bands and animato string quartet for a couple of hours when we got married and had our champagne reception. We used George Boyd photography and he was AMAZING too. All our suppliers were fantastic and very reasonable. We are just sad its over! The day passes in a flash, so make the most of it. Achnagairn is just amazing! Enjoy!! Any questions about suppliers, give us a shout!

We did warn you about the amount of vodka they’d drink…ha ha! Just great fun, everything was perfect.
